Our client, a country house hotel in the heart of Cheshire are looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. 

About the role: 

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for running the kitchen and managing other members of the team in the absence of the Head Chef.


  • Managing food purchase and storage
  • Preparation and cooking of dishes to high quality standards
  • Creating new recipes and writing menus
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment


  • A flair with ingredients
  • Ability to stay calm in a high pressure environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • First rate culinary skills
